About Beat The Touts

Our mission is simple: help fans buy tickets at face value, before the touts do.

We track every UK ticket on-sale, presale, extra date and released ticket from the official sellers, and put it all in one place - on this website, in a free daily email and in our app for iPhone and Android - so you know exactly when and where to buy.

Why we do it

Getting a ticket at face value has become a full-time job. The information is scattered across sellers, venues, promoters and artists' own channels, and the window to buy is often minutes. Miss it and the same tickets reappear on resale sites at several times the price.

We believe fans shouldn't need inside knowledge or luck to see the artists they love at a fair price. If you know the moment tickets go on sale - and which presale you can actually get into - you can beat the touts to it.

Since 2007

Beat The Touts was founded in 2007. Today it's a daily service covering Ticketmaster (UK and Ireland), AXS, See Tickets, Gigantic, DICE, Skiddle and WeGotTickets, plus extra-ticket releases announced by promoters and venues - with alerts for the artists you follow.

We're independent: Beat The Touts is run by BeatTheTouts Limited and isn't owned by any ticket seller or promoter.

How we make money

Beat The Touts is free, and it always will be. Many of the ticket links on our site, in our email and in our app are affiliate links: if you buy a ticket after clicking one, the official seller pays us a small commission.

• You pay exactly the same price - the commission comes from the seller, never from you.
• We only link to official face-value sellers - never to resale or secondary-ticketing sites.
• We list shows whether or not they earn us anything. Some sellers we link to pay us nothing at all - what matters is that you get the ticket.

We don't buy and resell tickets. We only buy them for our own pleasure!

We don't collect your data

You don't need an account to use anything we make, and we don't track you.

• No account or sign-up - on the website or in the app.
• No advertising, no ad trackers and no analytics tracking.
• No cookies of our own.
• We never sell or share personal data.

The only personal data we hold is your email address, if you sign up to our daily email - used only to send that email, and kept only until you unsubscribe. In the app, if you turn on notifications, your phone sends us an anonymous device code with the regions and artists you've chosen, so we know which alerts to send you - nothing that identifies you.
