Beat The Touts is a free UK service that tracks every ticket on-sale, presale, extra date and extra-ticket release across the main face-value sellers, and alerts fans the moment tickets go on sale - so they can buy at face value instead of paying touts. It runs a website, a daily email and an app for iPhone and Android.

The numbers

From our tracking of UK ticket sellers, July to September 2026:

51%of on-sales had at least one presale before general sale (725 of 1,412 acts).

81%of those had only code- or membership-gated presales - no open presale for everyone (589 of 725).

2.4different presales on average for acts that had any. 246 acts had three or more.

1 in 5multi-date tours added dates after going on sale (177 of 892 tours with three or more dates).

The problem: Presales are multiplying and most need a code or membership. Extra dates and returned tickets appear without warning. Fans who miss the moment end up paying touts several times face value.
What's new: The app (iPhone and Android) alerts fans when tickets go on sale, presales open, extra dates are added or tickets are released, and lets them follow artists. The new website has day tabs for On General Sale, Presales and Updates, sorted by the biggest shows, and an artist search showing every upcoming UK date with all the ticket links in one place.
